Glomac Damansara Residences Review | TTDI SERIES

Glomac Damansara Residences (also known as Glomac Residensi Damansara) is a Freehold serviced apartment located right at the outskirts of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, off Jalan Damansara at the border of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.


LAYOUTS


Glomac Damansara Residences consists of 356 units, shared between 2 towers – Block A and Block B. The towers are 30 storeys high; residences are between levels 5 to 30.


There are a number of layouts for residents to choose from, with 3 main types: Type A, B, and C. The special types are on level 30: Type D and E. Built-ups range from 876 to 2529sqft.


With the amount of space provided, plus the number of rooms that each layout fits, which averages 3 rooms in each, the service apartment is also able to fit medium to large sized families.


Block A


There are 6 units per floor in Block A. Each floor is serviced by 3 passenger lifts and 1 Bomba lift.


Each unit comes with a wet kitchen area. The corner units have extra space for the laundry or yard.

  1. Unit #1 with built-up of 1313sqft (Type B) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces TTDI and North direction.

  2. Unit #2 with built-up of 1313sqft (Type B) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces the pool, Block B, and South direction.

  3. Unit #3 with built-up of 1022sqft (Type A) with 2 bedrooms, 1 study, and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces TTDI and North direction.

  4. Unit #3A with built-up of 1022sqft (Type A) with 2 bedrooms, 1 study and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces the pool, Block B, and South direction.

  5. Unit #5 with built-up of 1840sqft (Type C) with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Unit faces Damansara Kim and West direction.

  6. Unit #6 with built-up of 1840sqft (Type C) with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Unit faces Damansara Kim and West direction.

For Type A or 1022sqft units, the study room can be easily converted into a bedroom; hence a 3 bedroom unit.


For units 1 and 2, even though they face North and South directions respectively; all the bedrooms in both units receive direct morning sunlight. Even though units 5 and 6 face West direction (evening sunset), the balconies also open to beautiful unblocked view of Damansara Kim’s landed houses and Starling Mall in Damansara Uptown.



Level 30, the highest floor is equivalent to penthouse level. There are only 4 units on level 30. Units either faces TTDI and North direction, or the pool, Block B, and South direction. Units are either 2131sqft or 2475sqft.



Block B


There are 8 units per floor in Block B. Each floor is serviced by 3 passenger lifts and 1 Bomba lift.


Each unit in Type A, B, and C comes with a wet kitchen area. Some owners would’ve extended the dry kitchen into the wet kitchen area to make-over into one whole kitchen. The corner units have extra space for the laundry or yard.

  1. Unit #1 with built-up of 1010sqft (Type A) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces Block A, the pool, and North direction.

  2. Unit #2 with built-up of 1010sqft (Type A1) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces the leisure pool, Sprint Highway, and South direction.

  3. Unit #3 with built-up of 1102sqft (Type B) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces Block B, the pool, and North direction.

  4. Unit #3A with built-up of 1102sqft (Type B1) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces the leisure pool, Sprint Highway, and South direction.

  5. Unit #5 with built-up of 1146sqft (Type C) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces Damansara Kim and West direction.

  6. Unit #6 with built-up of 1146sqft (Type C1) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces Damansara Kim and West direction.

  7. Unit #7 with built-up of 876sqft (Type D) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces Damansara Kim and West direction.

  8. Unit #8 with built-up of 876sqft (Type D) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unit faces Damansara Kim and West direction.

FACILITIES


Glomac Damansara Residences also hold a number of facilities to ease residents during their time in here. There are 2 landscaped gardens, topped with a waterfall, to bring nature into the concrete jungle that residents are living with. The serviced residence also comes with a 200m jogging path, for those who run to stay fit, or even those who just want to take a stroll around for some fresh air. A gym is also provided for residents, for the convenience of residents who have limited time to work out. A multi-purpose hall and a barbecue area are also included as part of its facilities for social gatherings. 



LOCATION & AMENITIES

Located in between Kuala Lumpur city centre and Damansara, the residence is close to a lot of amenities, which will be a great pull factor to prospective buyers. Close to Glomac Damansara Residence is the mixed development that it is included in, which is Glomac Damansara. With a retail area and a commercial area, topped with office towers within the vicinity, residents are already set with everything they need within walking distance.

A short drive away also brings residents to TTDI, where there are commercial lots with restaurants, mini-marts, banks, as well as a fire station and a police station. Parents will be able to find schools especially in Damansara area, with Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Damansara Jaya being the nearest one. The Damansara Specialist Hospital is also a stone’s throw away, which will bring ease to the minds of residents as well.


Located along the main road, Glomac Damansara Residences can be easily reached via the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), and the SPRINT Highway. Both highways will also allow residents to reach townships such as Damansara Jaya, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Mont Kiara, Hartamas and Kuala Lumpur city centre.
